The story of an innovative blockchain technology namely, the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) has been incredibly interesting. Known as the offspring of the Dfinity Foundation established in 2018, ICP had its teething moments but has finally arrived as a powerhouse in the Web3 arena.
At first the beginning, ICP suffered a low market presence demonstrated by low prices and challenges in operation. Even though there have been advances in the past, this issue is currently gaining more attention. ICP has experienced an increase of token value and the ability to host decentralized applications as well as AI models, hence it has become an area of concentration among users of the web3.
For its growth celebration, the ICP community is creating a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to execute a series of events called ICPCC. This series aims to highlight ICP achievements while promoting community involvement. DAO will be how the event will be handed over to the community, and it will impart to the event a decentralized and inclusive character.
The event will have various entertainment components like a documentary named “Cracking FTX” that sheds light on suspicious market activity during the ICP token launch. Also, the CLOWN community and Windoge 98 projects will display what they are providing to the ICP platform.
Dfinity Foundation’s relentless pursuit is powering the ICP blockchain’s progress, which came as a result of the challenges initially faced. ICP, Leading the pack in the Web3 space, has managed to attract over 300 developers and make infrastructure development its focus.
ICPCC24 brings in achieve for attendees to see the growth of the ICP community and how AI adoption can work with the Web3 space. As the process progresses, it represents the atmosphere of innovation and devotion that makes blockchain technology advance.

Bitcoin Bust in Bengaluru! Did They Catch the Hacker After All?
The police arrested Srikrishna Ramesh, supposedly known as Sriki, regarding a 2017 Bitcoin scam worth Rs 1.14 crore Bitcoins stolen from the Unocoin Technology platform. The arrest was made last night by the members of the Special Investigation Team belonging to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Karnataka Police.
The case goes back to July 2017 when Unocoin Technologies co-founder Harish BV filed a complaint against a cyber fraud in which he lost up to 60.6 Bitcoins. Sriki, a 29-year-old, was taken from a hotel in Bengaluru. Before that, he had been apprehended by the Crime Branch only last November.
The accusation claims that this event triggered a hacker attack, resulting in stolen Bitcoins. The CID SIT learned that the director of this cryptocurrency exchange paid Rs. 7 lakhs to a Bengaluru police officer to recover the stolen Bitcoins after Sriki’s preliminary arrest.
Some of the arrestees were past CCB personnel involved in the crime for allegedly trying to access multiple crypto wallets and payment gateways with Li’s help.
It was established by the investigation that the laptop belonging to Sriki had been used while held by the police, which was absolutely significant for the case. The Police Investigation Department officer was alleged to have accepted payment from one of the co-founders of Unocoin Technologies for the recovery of the stolen Bitcoins.
Ever since forming the SIT in June 2023 by the Congress party in May 2023, it has been actively working on the case. The case, which happened during the BJP regime in Karnataka has brought concerns about the interconnection between cops and crypto-crimes.
