Is This The Future of Education in Kerala? 80,000 Teachers to Get Equipped with AI Skills
The government of Kerala is staking a new initiative by holding a three-day Workshop in AI with a total number of 80,000 teachers from state secondary schools attending the program. The program that is implemented by Karnataka Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) is a great example of how teachers can acquire skills in AI hands-on actions and learn about their application in a responsible manner.
Planned for May 2, teachers can utilize the AI power to fascinate classroom activities. Students will learn to simplify complicated texts and documents, create synopsis, and even make multifunctional graphics based on AI operation methods.
The training manual will cover multiple facets of AI, such as summary generation, imagery, prompt engineering, machine learning, data visualization, and the type of learning assessment. Teachers will be encouraged and in some circumstances actually provided with appropriate software to create animations, presentations, and interactive learning software.
Among the major topics that the training covers is how to make confidential the potential risks associated with the AI including the privacy threats and the bias of the algorithms.
